Where we work

Naturally, "where a Senior Sleuth works" depends on the type of role that the volunteer engages in.
If the Senior Sleuth is assisting in the operations of one of the Seniors Vs Crime Project's Offices they would work in the Project's local Office.  In other instances they may be volunteering under the direction of the local County Coordinator who would decide where the volunteers would work. If the Coordinator is a member of a law enforcement agency they might work in a law enforcement office. If the Coordinator is another experienced Senior Sleuth, they might work in the Project Office or in other project appropriate offices.

Seniors Vs Crime Offices and Personal Security.  Most of our 2,000+ volunteers work in one of the 44 Seniors Vs Crimes Project local Offices. Many of the Project Offices are within the security confines of a law enforcement`agency, or very close to, either the local police or county sheriff. Many Senior Centers have asked that we establish offices in their facility, so in the last few years about six offices have been located in Senior Centers. The Project Offices that are in the traditional "commercial storefront" are in safe environments that are frequented by shoppers. These environments provide volunteers and seniors seeking help with the utmost of security.

Project Offices throughout Florida are listed by county in the tab Locations.

Handicap Disabled Senior Access
All of the Project  Offices
have accommodations for handicapped access, but visitors who need special assistance should call so that assistance from a non-senior can be arranged.

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
